Romans Chapter 01
1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called as an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
1:2 which he promised earlier by His prophets in the holy Scriptures,
1:3 concerning his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, who was descended from David according to the flesh, 1:4
was declared the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness , by the resurrection from the dead,
1:5 through whom we received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name's sake;
1:6 among whom you are also you, called of Jesus Christ
1:7 to all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. First
1:8 I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is proclaimed throughout the world.
1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers, 1:10
praying that somehow has to end by the will of God, a prosperous journey to come to you.
1:11 For I long to see, to convey to you some spiritual gift to you to be confirmed;
1:12 that is, to be mutually comforted by the faith that is common to you and me.
1:13 But I would not, brethren, that oftentimes I planned to come to you (but so far have been prevented), to have some fruit among you also, as among other Gentiles. 1:14 A
Greeks and to wise and unwise I am a debtor.
1:15 So, as far as I am eager to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome. 1:16
I am not ashamed of the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
1:17 For the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 1:18 For
la ira de Dios se revela desde el cielo contra toda impiedad e injusticia de los hombres que detienen con injusticia la verdad;
1:19 porque lo que de Dios se conoce les es manifiesto, pues Dios se lo manifestó.
1:20 Porque las cosas invisibles de él, su eterno poder y deidad, se hacen claramente visibles desde la creación del mundo, siendo entendidas por medio de las cosas hechas, de modo que no tienen excusa.
1:21 Pues habiendo conocido a Dios, no le glorificaron como a Dios, ni le dieron gracias, sino que se envanecieron en sus razonamientos, y su necio corazón fue entenebrecido.
1:22 Profesando ser sabios, se hicieron necios,
1:23 y cambiaron la gloria of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and worshiping the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
1:26 Therefore God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women exchanged the natural use into that which is unnatural,
1:27 and likewise also the men abandoned the natural use of women, burned in their lust one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
1:28 And as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do things which are not convenient
1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity;
1:30 gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 1:31
foolish, faithless, natural affection, implacable, unmerciful;
1:32 Although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things deserve death, they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them.
REFLECT ON WHAT DOES THE WORD. Let us
GOD WITH ALL OUR HEART AND NO DEMOS UNLEASH the sinful passions. LIVE IN HOLINESS, without which no one, will see God.
WITH LOVE FOR YOU AND ME ...
