Matthew 11:28 "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29 Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest for your souls
11:30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. "
In this time called "The Night Mayor" "Semana Santa" many remember, life, passion and death of Christ on the Cross of Calvary. But a good group of people mostly without equivocation, see this week as synonymous with "vacation" in some countries a week, three days or more, the point is that the long-awaited Holy Week is not expected to commemorate the death and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ, but to rest and the last thing they remember is the goal of these festivities.
The paradox of this week is that more sin abounds: many go to the beach to get drunk, to fornicate, commit adultery, to give vent to their passions and desires. Sad but this week is dedicated for the rest of each person and not to rest in God. This happens because people see nothing more in it a religious week, they are carried out every year as rites and ceremonies, dramas and other things that try to instill pity for the suffering of the Redeemer, but the detail is that it is not that people feel sorry for what Christ endured, but repentance for sin, sorrow for having failed God and the chance to get on with it.
When your death will not only cause pain and shame, then our heart is ready to receive him as the savior of our lives, and then we will rest, forgiveness and peace. And when we find true rest and realize that there is no Easter in the Christian life, there is a holy life, entirely apart for God, to live forever in gratitude for what Christ did for us.
A live holy lives for God and knows that he is his rest, satisfied living a holy life that is the bread of life, happy living a holy life, that has been free.
a holy life is not religious, or try to instill pity in others, but a lifestyle worthy of imitation. A holy life is freedom of religion, as they have a perfect communion with God.
Isaiah 55:1 Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters, and have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy without money and without price, wine and milk.
55:2 Why spend money for what is not bread and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen to me carefully, and eat well, and let your soul delight in fatness.
55:3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live, and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, the sure mercies of David. [...]
55:6 Seek the LORD while he may be found, call while he is near.
55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
55:9 As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
55:10 For as descended from the heavens the rain and snow, and do not return there but water the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 55:11 So shall my word that goes forth from my mouth will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I want, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent.
A holy life has it all. and does not need a week to commemorate, by their fruit testifies about who lives in your heart and give thanks to God daily. This is not a week of commemoration, and then forget and move like sheep without a shepherd, is an encounter with the Savior and let His Spirit to transform us completely. Remember it is not a Holy Week is a holy life for God. And give glory to God for what He did for us!

shall grow up before him, and as a root out of dry ground there seemed to him, nor beauty, you see, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
53:3 He is despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief: and we hid as their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
53:4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.
53:6 All we like sheep have turned to his own way, but the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 53:7
oppressed him, and afflicted, yet He opened not his mouth, like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth.
53:8 By oppression and trial was removed, and his generation, who considered that He was cut off from the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
