is shocking what Christ did for us on the Cross of Calvary, He did not deserve to die, but did it for love. HE GAVE and humbled to the utmost, BUT WAS THE ONLY HOW TO GIVE LIFE, AND YOU WERE DEAD in trespasses and sins. FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT WAS ANNOUNCED HIS DEATH:
ISAIAH Chapter 53 says:
53:1 Who believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord?
53:2 shall grow up before him, and as a root out of dry ground there seemed to him, nor beauty, we shall see, There is no beauty that we should desire him.
53:3 He is despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief: and we hid as their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
53:4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.
53:6 All we like sheep have turned to his own way, but the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
53:7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He opened not his mouth, like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth.
53:8 By oppression and trial was removed, and his generation, who considered that He was cut off from the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
This time known by tradition as the Holy Week, many Latin American nations staged or relive the sad event that took place two thousand years ago, and dress of Judas, Roman soldiers of Christ and up to Pontius Pilate and say they feel with intensity the Passion of Christ.
